Case 4208: Breast Reduction

This patient complained of the typical problems associated with large breast. She had backaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, bra strap grooving and rashes under her breasts. She started with a 34DDD bra size. She underwent a standard breast reduction with the vertical and horizontal incisions. She is now close to a C/D cup bra size. Her breast reduction surgery clearly improved the size and shape of her breast along with a significant improvement in her symptoms. An added benefit of breast reduction surgery is the breast lift that results.
