Procedure Technique
You will be invited to lie down in our treatment room where we will prepare the skin being treated, which can include the use of a numbing agent. During the procedure, a handpiece that emits ultrasound energy will be passed across your skin. Based how many areas of skin you're getting treated, your procedure can take around 1 – 2 hours. It's usual for the treated skin to appear slightly red and swollen. You may apply ice packs and take a nonprescription pain reliever to decrease any inflammation and pain. You can put on cosmetics after your appointment and resume your day as usual.
What to Expect
This cosmetic procedure will not give you visible results right away. It will take some time for the treated skin to heal and adjust after the treatment. With the boost of collagen, the skin will tighten in around six or more months.
