35 years ago, I had breast implant surgery. Over the course of those years, my breasts had encapsulated causing my breasts to look totally abnormal and very hard to the touch. Breast lift with implants over the muscle 505cc - I have had fairly large breasts since high school. They were great and followed me everywhere. Then I went to college and gain the “freshmen 50” (yes 50, not 15) and they got quite large. Between yo-yo dieting, poor nutrition, and inconsistent exercising, they just look sad and deflated. Now that I’m 32, I have finally figured out how to feed myself and I’m stable enough that I’ve decided to go through with a breast augmentation. Going to the pre-op, I was told that because my nipples are basically at the equator, I’ll need a full on lift too. Awesome. Can’t wait to have THOSE scars. But whatever. My bewbs will look badass in clothes. But what was also very important to me is that I get big, fake looking boobs; definitely not going for the natural look. So I had this in mind when I went for my sizing appointment. I was like “hell yea! I want 800cc!” Gimme them tig ol bitties!” (Please note that I’m crazy and did up an entire power point and made a binder for the doctor and I’ll try to post that). And the nurse looked at me like I farted in a library. Ok, so my natural size is about a 36D (sunken in). So with the amount of breast tissue that I have, I wouldn’t be able to reach the steering wheel of my car because there would be a bunch of silicone in the way. This is not something I knew I would be dealing with. So! She had me try on 350cc first go around. Dear god, I had no idea that so little would make me look so much bigger. So we went here and there and ended up somewhere in between 450 and 550. The surgeon said that he’d make the call on the table. I’ll post an update of what I actually ended up with. Since I have so much tissue, the surgeon said we could go over the muscle. This is awesome because I would like a faster healing time and I love to lift weights. But again, he may have to make a different call based on what he unearths in my chest wall. To summarize... My experience with Dr. Dash and her office was beyond what I expected and what I have experienced at other physician's offices. 30 years ago I had breast implants and recently fell and ruptured one of the implants. Surgery required removing the old implants and replacement with new ones. Dr. Dash did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with the new me. More
wouldn’t go anywhere else - Dr. Dash has been amazing from the first breast augmentation, to the surgery day. I am currently 6 hours post op and couldn’t be more impressed with the whole process and how comfortable I felt during the whole thing. I was impressed by how informed he kept me during my sisters procedure so naturally I wanted to do a consult with him for breast augmentation. I called and his staff set an appointment immediately. He answered all of my questions during the consultation and sizing. As it turns out one of my breasts was going to need a slightly larger implant which made me nervous because I didn't see a difference. Lol. But he had me close my eyes and try to feel the difference in the implant sizes. You couldn't tell! It made me feel that much more confident in choosing Dr. Jain and putting my trust in him to do what's best for me while in surgery. I also liked the fact that his wife and partner Dr. Dash assists in his surgeries. You get a woman's opinion too! My surgery was easy. I assumed (from girlfriends who have had augmentations done) that recovery would be hard. But I felt good immediately after surgery and I was off the pain pills pretty quick. One thing I love is that my swelling was minimal compared to what I have seen. I never had the implants swell up to my collar bone but my nipples did get puffy which I hated. However, I don't think that's avoidable. After healing, my chest looks so pretty and femine now. I never considered how much more confident that it would make me! More

Fast forward 12 years, 3 breastfed boys and mild strength training...the girls were sad, nearly nonexistent and lacked symmetry. I am long and lean and worried that I'd have an unnatural appearance from breast augmentation. Dr. Dash listened to my concerns and decided as a team (my husband included) that 350 would be my max. I had my surgery yesterday, and upon trying a variety of sizes, 300 left and 325 right were chosen for my desired outcome. I am beyond elated and cannot wait to see how much my new breasts settle in over the next few months! More

47 Yrs Active C to D Cup Revision 445 Cc PIP Saline Replaced 695 HP Silicone - Hello, First of all thank you to all of you who write blogs, comments, day by day improvements etc.! This site was amazing for the photos of what I wanted to look like after surgery. I had my PIP Mentor implants first surgery February of 2001. The bags started to ripple and I wasn't comfortable with my look or the way they felt anymore. I went to my original surgeon in Colorado Springs, Dr. Speirs. What an amazing man/surgeon. He is closing his practice to accept the Chief of Plastic surgery at Ft. Carson. He will over see Breast reconstructive surgery! (My mother is a survivor of breast cancer. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff!) they referred me to a fabulous PS couple Dr. Krishna Dash and her husband Dr. Jain in Colorado Sprongs CO. I went for my prop and my husband and I both fell in love with Dr. Dash! If anyone needs a wonderful PS in CO, they are the couple to see! I went again for my sizing and due to me being 5' 10", 137 lbs., 36 inches around, I am able to take up the cc's. I had my surgery 12/16 and am doing well. I went for my post op 12/18 and she was so happy to report all went well and she cleared the capsule enough to fit the 695 cc silicone from Sientra!
